| MauritaniaEITI The accession of our country in September 2005 in the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative is resulting in the movement of the restructuring of the 3 August 2005, at which the transitional government have raised the strengthening of good economic governance at the national priority and initiated action for its materialization. In making its accession to the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative and putting in place the institutional framework for its implementation, the government will give the country an instrument development and sustainability will certainly contribute to the restoration and consolidation of trust with the people of Mauritania. The composition of the National Committee - 6 members of the Administration, 5 mining companies and the rest, 18 members representing political parties, unions and other civil society organizations - is a sign of openness to regard to civil society whose involvement is essential in implementing and monitoring the initiative. - Read more http://www.cnitie.mr |
